INFORMATION: Over the last seven years, vive la femme has introduced dozens of plus-size labels to the Chicago area, and Kingley and Posh is the boutique's newest line for Fall 2009. The label's owner and designer, Fresia Rodriguez, will be on premise to personally introduce her fashions to vive la femme's curvy customers.
Focusing on a work-chic palette of black, gray, cream, and plum, Kingley and Posh translates effortlessly to the types of clothes that the powerful woman in a professional environment needs and wants. Mix-and-match silhouettes of dresses, jackets, skirts, and blouses come together harmoniously, finessing any full-figured fashionista's wardrobe with clean and classic pieces, elegantly transcending the confines of size.
Standout pieces include the classic workdress with a sweetheart neckline and knee-length hemline, the palazzo trouser with a fabulously flared leg, and the keyhole jersey top with feminine lantern sleeves.
Located on the trendy strip on Damen between Armitage and Webster, vive la femme offers the latest looks and trends exclusively in sizes 12-24. Owned by Chicago native Stephanie Sack, vive la femme's vision encompasses romantic and ladylike ensembles with a signature twist of modern *pop*.
