Spring into Spring, Grease Free

In this week's issue there was an emphasis on hot dogs and spring fashions... this coming week I will continue to focus on spring fashions, but no hot dogs. Maybe it's psychological, but when I eat bad food, which I've done more than usual this past year since losing my full-time job, I can feel it in my mind and body.

Any suggestions for the cheapest and healthiest place to eat at in the neighborhood?

  1. I don't think fried falafel is healthy but I just finished a $3 falafel sandwich from Babylon!

  2. Oh and you can't go wrong if you're looking for a summer sweet treat at Miko's. Sugary, but not fattening like ice cream!

  3. Thanks for the recommendations, I think falafel is healthier than hotdogs!! I eat at Sultan's so much that I decided to go somewhere I haven't been in a long time... a portabella sandwich, not exactly healthy either with cheese and oil, but still better than a hotdog! I also ran into like six people I knew within a two block stretch... weirdest walk ever

  4. Oh, and summer will be here soon, I like Miko's, as well as Tasty Freeze. The weather was so nice today!
