The Anchorage Press, an alt-weekly, no longer appears to be publishing Savage Love by Dan Savage, per this letter to the editor.
Definitely sad news for Alaska. Good thing I'm only visiting. One thing I've been noticing is that newspapers seem to be healthier here than in Chicago. The classified section of the Anchorage Daily News is very robust. Maybe print is still the best way to sell furs and guns?
