Saturday Morning Storybook Camp!
Ages 3-6 years
Need something fun to do on Saturday mornings? Drop the kids off at our Saturday Morning Storybook Camp while you run errands or get some much-needed Me Time! Join us as we act out children's tales and explore imaginary worlds using crafts, music, and - most importantly - our imaginations! Children will have loads of fun in this extremely interactive class while parents get a moment to themselves. Each class features a different story - so sign up for all three. A healthy snack is included.
Saturdays: 9:30am-11:30am, March 26, April 9 and April 23, 2011
Cost: $30 per class

Inside the Story: Princess Tales!
Ages 3-6 years (girls and boys); 8 weeks
Join us for the most awesome game of Let's Pretend ever! Act out stories and venture into imaginary worlds as we explore Princess-focused tales like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty this session! Each 45-minute class will involve an interactive reading of a princess story. Then we'll see what we discover as we put the story on its feet and re-create characters, settings, emotions, and dialogue in games and play! This interactive class will get brains, bodies and booties boogieing! Our physical approach to stories introduces kinesthetic learning and strengthens reading comprehension. But most of all, it puts your child inside the story!
Tuesdays: 3:00pm-3:45pm (March 29 - May 24, 2011 [no class on 5/10/11])
Cost per child: $200 for the eight-week session

Create-Your-Own Prince/Princess!
Ages 7-10 years (girls and boys); 8 weeks
Create an epic Hero's Journey with your child as his or her own Hero! We'll be exploring several classic tales - their settings, characters, emotions and plotlines - to examine what steps a hero takes to complete his or her quest. Then we'll create our own prince and princess characters and discover where our own journeys take us! This class will put your child right in the center of the story as their own hero, strengthening their imagination, problem-solving skills, cooperation skills and self-esteem!
Tuesdays: 4:00pm-4:45pm (March 29 - May 24, 2011 [no class on 5/10/11])
Cost per child: $200 for the eight-week session
